Brief Description

FREE SHIPPING! Interesting Maybell guitar from the 1930's. This has an arched top and a round sound hole. Kind of has a gypsy jazz guitar feel and sound with a brightness and plucky notes that ring out with punch but do not have a lot of lingering sustain. Well suited for fast runs and chunky rhythm chords. Solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Looks like the original tuners and maybe original tailpiece and bridge. I could not find much information or images of this model so I am not sure about what the stock tailpiece and bridge looked like. There are a few small hairline cracks on the back and on the top at the bottom and top of the lower bout and the side has a hairline crack near the treble side. Just had a neck re-set and it plays and sounds fantastic. It has pearl dot markers and snow flake markers at the 7th and 12th fret. The interior was lacquered at the factory.
